Domko is built following the ISO 27001 framework and is fully compliant with the EU GDPR and the data protection laws of the Republic of Slovenia. We only collect minimum necessary data. Your information is secured on encrypted servers in Germany.
* Faculty certificates are used solely for identity confirmation to unlock full app features and are stored for a maximum of 12 months.
* Proof of registration for agencies is mandatory for post creation.
* Proof of student dormitory registration is mandatory for post creation.
* Proof of ownership for private landlords is currently optional; however, unverified listings will display a "Not Verified" badge. Uploading ownership certificates is required to obtain a "Verified" badge.
Users have the right to delete their account at any time. Upon deletion, all personal records are immediately wiped from our active production database. You will receive an automated email confirming the successful removal of your data.
Backup Policy: For disaster recovery, we maintain encrypted database backups for a maximum of 30 days on a rotating basis. Your data may persist in these encrypted archives until the next rotation cycle completes.
In accordance with GDPR Article 15 , you have the right to request information regarding how your data is processed.
Domko strictly adheres to the principle of Data Minimization (GDPR Article 5) . We only process the absolute minimum data required to verify your identity and facilitate secure housing inquiries.
To protect our community, we store communication logs and IP data specifically to track unauthorized access or investigate reported violations of our community rules, such as abusive language or harassment.
